Light and yet strong lawn top soil dressing & leveler
It’s really good at working the top soil into the lawn. I had not used a leveler before and wasn’t sure if it would work, but it has and I would certainly recommend it. I also liked the quality of construction and the fact that it could be collapsed into smaller pieces for easy storage. The pole is pretty long and you can reach quite a bit from where you are standing. I was also surprised by the unexpected gift in the package- a pair of shears for the garden and gloves. Quite thoughtful of our gardening needs.

Impressive to say the least.. I just received and assembled this lawn leveling rake. I can tell you that this stainless steel material used in this rake is heavy duty. The rake is very easy to assemble with all the nuts, bolts and wrenches you need. I had it assembled in about 5 minutes. The rake is heavy which is needed to get the leveling job done. I have two loads of top soil coming for my yard and this rake will make the job much faster than with my garden rake. Since this rake is made of stainless steel, it should be durable to last years and years. Very good quality and for a very reasonable price. I feel like this is a garden tool that will be in my shed for years and years. If you are the person that adds top dressing to your lawn, year after year, this is the tool for you. Very pleased with my purchase!

Great tool
Before purchasing, I read all the reviews and wondered if I could handle the 36 inch version. I gave it a try and it worked great. I am a female, 5’2”, and feel as old as the dirt I’m spreading. I share that essentially to say if I can handle this rake, so can most of you. After a lot of use, it did start to feel a bit heavy, but I was restoring a very large area and I have not been hitting the gym. Incredibly easy to assemble and they even provide the tools needed. Highly recommend.

Leveling rake
I was actually impressed by the quality of the rake. Heavy duty.I typically dump a cart of soil into a low area of the lawn and then later pull out this rake to level all the areas. This works very well. The curved handle makes gripping it and pulling along easy.

Great final outcome, but takes worn!
Works! It’s takes some effort however. Helps wif attention to using good dry mix of topsoil and dry sand. The hardest part for me was my ‘topsoil’ is actually a mix of topsoil and clay… with the clay causing ‘ chunks.’ I had to use my 12” x 12” flat dirt ‘packer’ to first flatten/ break up the chunky soil that I would spread out on 4’ x 4” piece of 1/2” plywood which times three increased the project time….but worth it with the finial GREAT outcome.

If your yard is over 2k sqft, get this 45″ leveler! It made my leveling work so so so much easier and quicker than using my other 17″ leveler.Angled handle is actually more helpful than I expected, and cam be used for nothing pulling and pushing. Weight is not on the heavy side, easy to maneuver for an average guy like me.I was using topsoil and compost mix, but use 1/4″ sifter to get rid of clumps.Not sure about the longevity, but the price is like half of the name brand ones, and I don’t see any special features that worth the extra bucks.
